WELCOME TO THE NEW CFMP!

As a part of RCMA’s ongoing efforts to promote professionalism and community, we’re excited to launch the CFMP certification program. This program is designed to bring RCMA’s membership to a common, consistent level of learning, understanding and communication.

FORmAT

Classes will be offered in two formats - live at RCMA events and online using RCMA’s membership portal.  After classes are taken, participants will be required to take an online
test within 30 days of the completion of the class.

The certification will be valid for 5 years, after which time, those holding the certification will be required to re-certify by verifying their continued involvement in the faith-based event industry.

Classes will be ‘rolled out’ to members over the next 2 years, during which time, members
will be encouraged to remain diligent in the process.  Classes above marked with a * are being offered during the 2018 Emerge Conference in Omaha.

COSTS

Participation in the CFMP program for planners will be offered complimentary as a benefit of membership. Active membership in RCMA will be required to maintain and hold the certification.

Participation in the CFMP program for suppliers will be at a fee of $199.  This fee will be collected at the completion of the 8 required classes and tests.  Active membership in RCMA will be required to maintain and hold the certification.

Benefits

Members that complete the certification program will receive a certificate of completion and permission to use the CFMP designation, as well as the CFMP logo as a part of their personal email signatures, business cards, etc.  RCMA’s membership roster will clearly indicate those planner and supplier members that have completed the certification process.
