The Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) is opening its Call for Presentations for our 2027 annual conference in Orlando, Florida, January 4-7.  This process allows our membership to propose relevant topics to be presented to their peers in areas related to event planning. We welcome educational sessions (with individual or multiple presenters), panels, and topical discussions designed to equip planners and suppliers  with actionable ideas and processes  they can implement for personal or organizational benefit.

  • Using and collecting data to direct event development

  • The use of technology in planning and implementing

  • Leadership development and the workplace

  • Planner toolkit – practical ‘take-aways’ that improve the production of the planner

  • Supplier sessions that engage and inform about the faith-based market

  • Innovative marketing and sponsorship development

We encourage sessions focused on:

All educational presentations are 45 minutes and should allow time for Q&A at the end of the session.

45-minute Presentations

All proposals must be submitted, via email, by midnight CDT, August 1, 2026 to djones@rcmaweb.org

Submission Info

The RCMA team will review and inform you if your presentation has been selected for presentation. All selected presenters will be notified of the assigned a time-slot in the educational program. All presenters acknowledge that compensation will not be provided for presented sessions.

After You Submit

  • Provide a detailed outline of the proposed presentation.

  • Provide at least 3 key take-aways for those attending the proposed session.

  • Provide information about your experience and qualifications to present the presentation. If the session is being co-taught by more than one presenter, provide this information for each presenter.

  • If a panel discussion is being proposed, provide the name of the proposed moderator/guide for the session.

  • More than one session can be proposed, but must be submitted in separate documents.

  • Provide the above details, in a single document, in a Word or PDF format.
