Honoring Four Remarkable RCMA Leaders

At EMERGE in Lexington this February, RCMA recognized four remarkable individuals whose work has left a lasting mark on the association and the meetings industry. Joe Fields of Lexington’s Central Bank Center and LeeAnn Solosky of Fort Wayne’s Grand Wayne Convention Center received Awards of Excellence for the leadership, partnership, and professionalism they have brought to faith-based meetings.

Wilma H. Taylor and Stella Beene-Venson were honored with Legacy Awards in recognition of their many years of service to RCMA and the enduring influence they have had on generations of planners. 

Joe Fields

Joe Fields, Director of Convention Sales at Central Bank Center, was honored for years of dedication to RCMA and for the role he played in helping bring EMERGE to Lexington in 2026. His work reflects the kind of vision, collaboration, and destination leadership that helps meetings grow and creates meaningful experiences for planners and attendees alike. 


LeeAnn Solosky

LeeAnn Solosky, Sales Manager at Grand Wayne Convention Center, received an Award of Excellence for the high level of service and expertise she brings to planners and events. In her role, she represents a venue known for its fully in-house support model and planner-centered approach, and her recognition reflects the professionalism and care she brings to that work every day. 


Wilma H. Taylor

Wilma H. Taylor’s Legacy Award honors the wisdom, encouragement, and leadership she has shared through many years of service to RCMA. She has been a valued presence in the community, and her influence has been felt not only in the work she has done, but in the example she has set for others in the field.


Stella Beene-Venson

Stella Beene-Venson received a Legacy Award in recognition of a career defined by leadership, mentorship, and long-standing service in faith-based meetings. For more than two decades, she coordinated meetings for the United Methodist Church’s General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, building a reputation as a respected planner and trusted guide for many within RCMA and beyond.
